Murwillumbah is a town in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, Australia, in the Tweed Shire, on the Tweed River. It sits on the south eastern foothills of the McPherson Range in the Tweed Volcano valley and is nearby the Mount Warning (Wollumbin). Murwillumbah is 848 kilometres (527 mi) north-east of Sydney, 13 kilometres (8.1 mi) south of the Queensland border and 132 kilometres (82 mi) south of Brisbane.
