Overview

Chilliwack is a city in the Canadian province of British Columbia. In 2025, the city had an estimated population of 112,500 residents. Between 2020–2025, the city saw steady growth, adding approximately 11,700 residents over this period at a rate of 11.6%. It is located about 100 kilometres (62 mi) east of the City of Vancouver in the Fraser Valley. Chilliwack is 34 kilometres northwest of the Sumas–Huntingdon Border Crossing on the Canada–United States border.
