Jirkov is a town in Chomutov District in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 19,000 inhabitants. Jirkov is located on the Bílina River on the border between the Most Basin and Ore Mountains and creates a conurbation with the city of Chomutov. The most important monuments in Jirkov include the Červený Hrádek Castle and the Church of Saint Giles.
