Overview
Šluknov is a town in Děčín District in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 5,600 inhabitants. It lies in the Lusatian Highlands on the border with Germany and it is the northernmost town of the country. The location on the periphery of the country is the cause of Šluknov's economic problems.
