Overview

Argenton-l'Église is a former commune in the Deux-Sèvres department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region in western France. On 1 January 2019, it was merged into the new commune Loretz-d'Argenton. It is located on the river Argenton about 9 km (5.6 mi) northwest of Thouars and 36 km (22 mi) northeast of Bressuire.
