Overview

札幌市（さっぽろし）は、北海道の石狩振興局に属する市。道庁所在地および石狩振興局所在地。政令指定都市であり、10の行政区が置かれている。北海道の行政・経済・文化の中心地であり、道内において人口最多、かつ三大都市圏以外の国内で人口最多の市（人口1,967,361人、2025年9月1日現在）で、北海道の中心都市であり札幌都市圏を形成している。
