Fălești is a city in Moldova. It is located in the north-western part of the country, in the old Bessarabia region. It is the largest city and administrative center of Fălești District. Spread across an area of 7.9 km2 (3.1 sq mi), the town had a population of 12,074 inhabitants in 2014.
