Geography
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has an area of ; is land and is water. Buhl is noted for its pure water, supplied by a glacial aquifer 700 feet below the surface encased in 300 feet of solid granite. This is reflected in the city's motto, prominently displayed on the town's water tower.
