Overview
Rena is the administrative centre of Åmot Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The village is located at the confluence of the rivers Glomma and Rena. It is located about 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) north of the village of Åsta and about 60 kilometres (37 mi) south of the village of Koppang. The 2.04-square-kilometre (500-acre) village has a population (2024) of 2,117 and a population density of 1,038 inhabitants per square kilometre (2,690/sq mi).
