Addington is a town in Jefferson County, Oklahoma, United States. The population was 83 as of the 2020 United States census.

History
The town was founded in 1890. Its post office was established on January 8, 1896, and was named after its first postmaster, James P. Addington. The town was not formally incorporated until 1901. the post office in Addington remains open. Former newspapers were the Addington Free Lance, the Addington Advertiser, the Addington Journal, and the Addington Herald.
