Căuaș is a commune of 2,259 inhabitants situated in Satu Mare County, Crișana, Romania. It is composed of six villages: Ady Endre, Căuaș, Ghenci (Gencs), Ghilești (Illéd), Hotoan (Érhatvan), and Rădulești (Újtanya).
