Overview

Ilișești is a commune located in Suceava County, Bukovina, northeastern Romania. It is composed of two villages, Brașca and Ilișești. The commune was called Ciprian Porumbescu and included the villages of Bălăceana and Ciprian Porumbescu until 2004, when these were split off to form separate communes.
