Hale Barns is a village near Altrincham in Greater Manchester, England. It lies in the historic county of Cheshire, 8 miles (13 km) south-west of Manchester city centre, 2 miles west of Manchester Airport and close to the River Bollin. At the 2011 census, the village had a population of 9,736.
