Overview
Staszów is a town in southeastern Poland, in Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. It lies approximately 54 kilometres southeast of Kielce, and 120 km (75 mi) northeast of Kraków. It is the capital of Staszów County. The population is 15,108 (2010), which makes it the 8th largest urban center of the province. The area of the town is 26.88 km2 (10.38 sq mi), and its two rivers are the Desta and the Czarna Staszowska.
