Elma is a city in Grays Harbor County, Washington, United States. The population was 3,438 at the 2020 census.

History
First settled in 1853 by D.F. Byles, Elma was later named for Union soldier Elmer Brown. The city of Elma was incorporated on March 22, 1888.
Geography
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of , of which, is land and is water. According to the Köppen Climate Classification system, Elma has a warm-summer Mediterranean climate, abbreviated "Csb" on climate maps. Summers are warm and dry, while winters are cool and very wet. Some form of precipitation occurs on half of all days on average.
